Ride Like a Pro: Elbows Out is Wrong!

It's very rare we say something is flat-out wrong, but this is one of those times. There are quite a few skills trainers out there telling riders to flare their elbows out to the side. This puts us in a position where we have far less strength and control over the bike. It's also potentially damaging for our shoulders.

Coach Patrick Carey demonstrates the proper body position and movement to create engagement with our lats and core muscles. This allows us to be super engaged and powerful on the bike while removing tension from our arms. Give this a try and let us know in the video comments what you think.
